What Is Ferrumium
Ferrumium is a web app for planning, calculating, and sharing Satisfactory factories.
Ferrumium is a web app for planning and sharing Satisfactory factories. It gives you a visual workspace for layouts, calculation tools for production rates, and community features for publishing your work.
You can use Ferrumium to sketch a factory from scratch, test recipe choices, check bottlenecks, and organize larger builds before you build them in game.
The main parts of Ferrumium
Planner
The Planner is the main workspace. You place machines, connect belts or pipes, group parts of a layout, and inspect how materials move through the factory.
Drafts
Drafts is for target-based planning. Instead of placing every machine by hand first, you start with the result you want, choose inputs and recipe rules, then review the generated plan. You can turn a draft into a factory later.
Tools
The Tools category covers smaller single-purpose utilities. These pages explain jobs like splitter ratios, distribution trees, and recipe lookup.
Sharing and publishing
Ferrumium also includes sharing features. You can publish work to Discover, share factories with other users, and browse community content such as Blueprints and Save Games.
What Ferrumium is for
Ferrumium is useful when you want to:
- plan a factory before building it in Satisfactory
- compare recipe options and production paths
- check whether belts, pipes, and machine rates make sense
- keep large layouts organized
- share a build or work on it with other users
What this wiki covers
This wiki explains how Ferrumium works. It focuses on the app itself: planner behavior, drafts, tools, sharing, settings, and reference material.
Game-specific mechanics only appear here when they directly affect a Ferrumium feature.
